🛡️ Privacy by Design: Accountless Architecture
You do not need to create an account, register, or provide an email to use our practice exams. All examination scores, question bookmarks, missed legal rationales, and interface themes are processed and stored locally in your browser using HTML5 Web Storage. We do not track individual examinees across the web.
1. Information We Collect & How We Store It
Because of our privacy-first philosophy, data collection is kept to the absolute technical minimum:
- Client-Side Local Storage (localStorage): Stores your UI preference (dark/light mode), missed question IDs for the review drawer, and active countdown timer status for 100-question timed mocks. This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers.
- Automated Server Log Data: When you access any page, our web servers automatically log standard network metadata (including your truncated IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and timestamp). This information is utilized strictly for system diagnostics, server security, rate limiting, and DDoS mitigation.
- Voluntary Communications: If you contact us via our contact form or email, we receive your name, email address, and message contents solely to address your inquiry.
2. Zero Sale or Commercialization of Personal Data
We DO NOT sell, rent, monetize, trade, or transfer your personal information to third-party data brokers, advertising agencies, or marketing companies. We do not participate in cross-context behavioral tracking.
3. European Users & GDPR Rights
For individuals residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), processing of server logs is conducted under the legal basis of Legitimate Interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for cybersecurity. You maintain the following statutory rights:
- Right to access diagnostic data retained in server logs.
- Right to erasure of voluntarily submitted support inquiries.
- Right to restriction or objection to data processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint with an authorized supervisory authority.
4. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA Notice)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to request disclosure of categories of personal information collected, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination. Because we do not sell or share personal data, we provide a clean, tracker-free experience to all visitors.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our services are tailored specifically for commercial and private pesticide applicators, agricultural professionals, and students aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
6. How to Delete Your Local Test Data
To permanently delete all locally saved exam scores, missed question rationales, and active test states, you can click the "Clear Saved Missed" button in the review drawer or clear your browser's site cookies and local storage via your browser settings menu at any time.
